"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world." Psalm 19: 1-4
Yesterday morning I said goodbye to my boys for a week. They are going to spend a week with their dad for Spring Break. I enjoy my time to myself when they're gone, but I also miss them. Saying goodbye to them is always the hardest part.
Yesterday morning after I left them, I felt a twinge of saddness as I was driving to work. Then, as I made my way over the water, I saw this sight:
I grabbed my Zach Morris flip phone and snapped a quick picture. The sun was just coming up for the day and it reminded me of God's love. As much as I will miss the boys, it is comforting to know I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for me no matter what circumstance comes my way.
Thank you, Lord for the little tangible glimpse of You yesterday.
